HOW THE VILLAGE CAME TO BE
The Beginning
A Mother's Search for Answers
It started with one question, how do I better support my daughter? What followed was a deep, often overwhelming search for clarity, resources, and understanding in a system that wasn't always easy to navigate.
The Pattern
Seeing the Gap Around Her
As she sought help, she couldn't ignore what she kept encountering, family members, friends, strangers, all carrying the same questions, the same confusion, the same sense of isolation. The need was everywhere.
The Revelation
Support Exists, But Families Can't Find It
She began to see clearly: the resources and support were out there, but the bridge between families and those resources was broken. Too many families were walking alone on a road that didn't have to be so dark.
The Calling
God Placed It on Her Heart
What had started as a personal search became a divine calling, to stop waiting for someone else to build the bridge and to start building it herself. To move from frustration to action, for her daughter and for every family like hers.
Today
Thriving Minds Village Is Born
The village is here, growing intentionally, rooted in lived experience, and committed to ensuring that no family has to navigate neurodivergence alone. The journey continues, and the village only gets stronger.
